One West Membership & Operations Coordinator (Part-Time, Remote)
Hours: 25 hours per week
Location: Remote – Applicants must be based in the United States, ideally within the western region.

Position Overview
The Membership & Operations Coordinator is a support role focused on helping One West run smoothly day-to-day. This position provides essential administrative, membership, and event support to the leadership team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and service-minded — someone who enjoys being the go-to person for making sure members are taken care of, systems are accurate, and events are well-coordinated.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for member questions, providing friendly and timely responses.
- Maintain accurate membership records, renewals, and contact lists in our database.
- Assist with onboarding new members and ensuring they receive benefits and information.
- Help prepare and distribute membership communications, including newsletters, reminders, and event invitations.
Event Support
- Assist in planning and coordinating One West events, including the Annual Destination Summit, Leadership Summit, Tech Summit, webinars, and networking sessions.
- Support event logistics such as registration management, vendor coordination, and technology tools for virtual/hybrid events.
- Provide behind-the-scenes support during events and assist with post-event follow-up (surveys, thank-yous, attendance tracking).
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide general administrative assistance such as scheduling, correspondence, and preparing meeting materials.
- Assist in compiling reports, tracking member engagement, and maintaining organizational records.
- Support special projects and initiatives that help One West deliver value to its members.
- Post approved updates to One West’s social media channels to support member communications, event promotion, and engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with a professional and approachable tone.
- Comfortable with databases, spreadsheets, and online platforms for membership and event management.
- Prior administrative or support role experience preferred; nonprofit or membership association experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying connected to a small, collaborative team.
- Service-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for supporting the tourism industry.
