Operated by the Redding Tourism Marketing Group, Choose Redding Lodging promotes travel to the region by attracting group events such as meetings, conferences, sports tournaments, tour bus groups, and more. Redding is located three hours northeast of San Francisco, nestled in the heart of California.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) serves as the strategic and operational leader of three tourism-focused organizations: UpStateCA (Visit California’s official DMO for the Shasta Cascade Region), the Shasta Cascade Educational Foundation (which operates Visit California’s Anderson Welcome Center), and Choose Redding Lodging (the official tourism marketing organization for Redding’s lodging properties). In this hands-on leadership role, the CEO is responsible for advancing each organization’s mission to grow tourism-driven economic development, lead destination marketing efforts, and foster strong partnerships at the regional, state, and national levels.
