DMO Budget Survey
Budget Allocations in Today’s EnvironmentInterested to know how your budget stacks up to others in your competitive set? Curious about changing budget allocations in today’s environment? If so, plan to complete the DMO Budget Survey on an annual basis and encourage other member-CEOs to do the same.
The annual DMO Budget Survey is designed to determine member budget classifications and to provide a focus on those items having an impact on a DMO’s budget. Participating CEOs will find the DMO profiles useful for planning purposes. Results available via the standard DMO “profile” or download the tabulation version. Members use the survey information when creating budgets, researching funding sources and planning DMO expenditures.
The DMO Budget Survey is a “members-only” program, with results accessible only to survey participants.
CEO and Staff Salary & Benefits Survey
The purpose of this survey is to determine the salary and benefit schedules of CEOs and staff members, as well as to collect data about such items as:
- Benefit allowances
- Titles and organization-background data section as well as chief executive benefits
- Information for member DMOs to use in comparing their benefits and salaries to those of others
Reminder: If your organization has a comparable position of any listed, leave the salary information blank for that position(s). For example, if your organization does not have a “Vice President/Director of Communications” position, leave the salary & staff count blank for that title. If one person fills multiple roles, report the salary for what is appropriate and applicable (i.e., Executive Director salary should be listed entirely under that person’s primary responsibility).
As with the DMO Budget and CEO and Staff Salary & Benefits Surveys, it is a members-only survey; it is a proprietary survey, with access to results available only to those member DMOs completing the online survey.
