President & CEO - Yakima Valley Tourism

Yakima Valley Tourism is the official Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) for the Yakima Valley in Washington State, responsible for promoting and managing the region as a year-round destination for leisure travel, conventions, and sporting events.

Formed in 1957, the Yakima Valley Visitors & Convention Bureau (DBA Yakima Valley Tourism) is a 501 (c)6 organization and has more than 290 active and engaged member businesses and organizations. It works to inspire travel to the Yakima Valley through targeted marketing campaigns, public and media relations and actively attracting and servicing conventions and sporting events. The organization is a recognized community leader working with partners to improve the economy while enhancing the quality of life for residents.

The President & CEO directs and leads the Bureau toward its mission. They work directly with the Board on policy making and strategy for the organization. Acting as the primary spokesperson for the organization. Direct reports are typically top department heads, including Convention Center, Sports Commission, Finance/Administration, Convention Sales, Membership, Visitors Services, Marketing & Travel Media.
