Kristi Switzer

Kristi Switzer is an experienced marketing communications director with a background in craft beer, book publishing, and tourism. Falling in love with Juneau on a brief business trip in 1990 started a career showcasing the great state of Alaska as a sense of place for a local brewery. She has been living and adventuring in Alaska since then and holds a deep reverence for the local Alaska Native culture and enthusiasm for outdoor adventures like hiking, foraging, and fishing. Her sense of wonder continues with every whale breach, bear encounter, glacier hike, and eagle sighting. Kristi is dedicated to matching travelers, tour operators, and journalists interested in an authentic connection with the beauty and richness of life in Juneau.
