You must be a One West member to serve on a committee.
The Mountain Destination Committee brings together tourism professionals representing mountain, resort, and ski-area destinations to connect around the opportunities and challenges unique to these communities. From seasonality, workforce and housing concerns to weather impacts, outdoor recreation, visitor management, and sustainable growth, members will share ideas, resources, and real-world solutions with peers who understand their experiences.
The committee provides a collaborative space to learn from one another, discuss emerging trends, explore partnership opportunities, and strengthen the work of mountain destinations across the West.

- Seasonality and building real demand in the shoulder seasons
- Workforce and seasonal housing pressures in resort communities
- Public lands access, permitting, and agency partnerships
- Visitor management, transportation, and parking at peak visitation
- Sustainability and keeping the community on side as visitation grows
