One West Nexus is a new 2.5-day experience built around something we believe deeply at One West: the people you meet along the way can become some of the most valuable resources you have throughout your career.

Nexus brings together destination professionals and industry partners for hands-on learning, meaningful conversations, collaborative problem solving, destination experiences, and plenty of opportunities to build relationships.

This isn’t an event where you’ll spend your days sitting in a ballroom listening to presentation after presentation. You’ll be working, talking, sharing, exploring, and learning alongside other people who understand your work—and who may become part of the professional community you rely on for years to come.

Small by Design

One West Nexus is limited to just 100 attendees: 75 DMO members and 25 partner members.

That’s intentional.

We want you to see the same faces throughout the event. We want you to have enough time to move beyond introductions and actually get to know people. We want conversations started over breakfast to continue in a lab, around a roundtable, during a destination experience, and long after Nexus is over.

Our goal isn’t to see how big we can make Nexus. Our goal is to see how valuable we can make it.

Our opening interactive keynote will focus on making networking more comfortable, intentional, and valuable—helping you move beyond small talk and start building genuine professional relationships. Then, you’ll have the rest of Nexus to put those skills into practice.

Because the person you meet at Nexus could become the person you call years from now when you’re facing a challenge, looking for a new idea, navigating a career change, or simply need someone who understands.

• Strategic Keynotes — A small number of thought-provoking speakers exploring the ideas, trends, and opportunities shaping our industry, organizations, and careers.

• Peer & Partner Roundtables — No presentations. No pitches. Just small-group conversations where you can ask questions, compare experiences, and learn from people doing the work.

• Collaborative Problem Solving — Bring the challenges you’re facing and tap into the collective experience of the room to explore solutions and new approaches.

• Intentional Networking — Networking isn't something that happens between sessions at Nexus. It is woven throughout the entire experience, giving you repeated opportunities to turn introductions into relationships.

• Destination Experiences — Get outside the meeting room and experience our host destination in smaller groups where conversation and connection can happen naturally.

• Ideas You Can Put to Work — Nexus is designed to send you home with more than notes. You’ll have time to identify your biggest takeaways and turn what you’ve learned into your own action plan.
